The great soldier of Islam Tariq Bin Ziyad:

Background:

Another two significant persons who led the military contingents during invasion included Tariq bin Ziyad who was of Berber minority and was born in North Africa. Cultural Impact:

If it is not much of an exaggeration one might say that what Tariq Imam sb and his contemporaries did for the Middle Ages culture, architecture, and the science of that region and much for the emerging Middle Ages Europe.

Tariq bin Ziyad is rather well known in the Islamic history and was known to put the machete of a vanguard fighter and an effective chief.
